Amal was born from a journey of faith, purpose, and a desire to strengthen my connection with Allah. Although I was born a Muslim, I came to realize that sometimes we, too, truly find Islam later in life. As I began to learn the wisdom behind our faith—why Allah prescribed prayer, what it truly means to stand before our Creator, and the immense mercy and purpose within every act of worship—my relationship with Islam transformed.

It made me reflect on something so simple, yet so profound. As I worked to strengthen my relationship with Allah, I began reflecting on how we prepare for prayer. We choose our best clothing when meeting someone important, yet when standing before our Creator who gave us everything, many of us settle for whatever is convenient—clothing that does not fully cover, unmatched socks, pieces that fall short of proper modesty and dignity that salah deserves.

I began to ask myself: Shouldn’t we also have a special garment for our meeting
with Allah?

From that reflection, Amal was born.

My intention was simple: if Amal could help improve even one person’s salah or bring even one heart closer to Allah, then it would have fulfilled its purpose.

As I continued my own journey toward modesty, I struggled to find clothing that felt both elegant and practical. What started as a dream to design modest everyday wear gradually grew into a vision for women of all ages and stages of life — from students and professionals to homemakers and women celebrating life’s special moments.

Every Amal piece is thoughtfully designed to blend modesty, comfort, and elegance, serving as a gentle reminder that modesty is not a limitation but a beautiful expression of faith, dignity, and grace.

The journey of building Amal has required patience, resilience, and trust in Allah’s plan. None of it would have been possible without the unwavering support of my husband and family, their love, encouragement, and belief in this vision became the foundation upon which Amal was built.

More than a brand, Amal is a reflection of faith, intention, and hope. It was created for every woman who wishes to meet her Creator with beauty, dignity, and sincerity, knowing that every step she takes towards Him is seen and rewarded.

Because when our actions are rooted in sincerity and done solely for the sake of Allah, they become acts of worship.— and that is the true essence of Amal.
